DESCRIPTION:Remembering Gina Dodds            \n                                                                                November 18th\, 2025\n                                \n            \nWe are deeply saddened to share the passing of Gina Dodds\, a beloved member of the Children’s Orchestra Society family. Gina wasn’t just an orchestra mom\, she was a true champion of the arts and a constant source of encouragement for every young musician who crossed her path.\n\nWith the heart of a lifelong musician\, Gina poured her energy\, passion\, and love into supporting her sons’ creativity. For more than a decade\, she devoted her Saturdays to bringing her younger son\, David\, to COS rehearsals\, performances\, and events. Week after week\, year after year\, you could always count on Gina to be present—cheering from the audience at intimate recitals\, lending a hand during rehearsals\, and proudly attending our grand annual galas. Her enthusiasm was infectious\, her kindness unshakable\, and her loyalty unwavering. She truly was one of our greatest supporters. \nGina leaves behind two sons\, four grandchildren\, and a beautiful legacy of musical memories. Her presence brightened our COS family\, and her memory will continue to inspire the young musicians she held so close to her heart. \nIn honor of Gina’s lifelong dedication to nurturing talent\, the family kindly requests that\, in lieu of flowers\, donations be made to the Children’s Orchestra Society to support a scholarship in her memory. This fund will help future generations of young artists pursue their passion—just as Gina would have wanted. \nHer spirit\, generosity\, and love of music will be deeply missed. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
